The North West Province is close to Gauteng and is a quick and easy escape from the big city, boasting superb accommodation options and a wide variety of sightseeing activities.
Home to the world-famous Sun City hotel complex including the Lost City, which caters for all the entertianment and modern-day pleasures. Close by one finds the fantastic Pilanesberg and Madikwe game reserves, home to the big five, fantastic bird-life and Africa at its best and malaria free. The area also boasts archaeological discoveries that go back to the beginnings of humankind.
The province extends all the way from Gauteng to the Botswana border and the area is bordered by the Magaliesberg and the Kalahari Desert.
