Duinepos self catering chalets are situated inside the West Coast National Park, based inland next to the sand dunes. Duinepos Chalets is a community-based tourism project which was funded by the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism.

The Park itself is 31 000 hectares in size and the chalets are 15 kilometers away from the lagoon although still inside the Park. The closest town is Langebaan and 17 kilometers away from Duinepos. Each unit sleeps 4 people comfortably.

Langebaan is a registered wetland and is, biologically, the richest stretch of water in South Africa. The West Coast National Park protects some 300 species of birds, including pelicans, Cape gannets and flamingos and is an ideal place to visit, to drive around the lagoon, or to experience the spectacular flower display in August and September.

Each Chalet offers: 2 Bedrooms (bedding included). Open plan kitchen (fully equipped). Lounge.        Fire place. Shower and toilet. Outside braai area with grid and braai tongs.

Conservation fees: Daily conservation fees are compulsory and fees are payable on arrival
Gate Hours: 1 April – 30 September: 07h00 – 18h30.  1 October – 31 March:    06h30 – 19h30

Sport: This popular town and seaside resort offers the outdoor sports lover absolutely everything, including kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking and mountain biking.
