Tinga has an exclusive 5000-hectare concession within this area, where guests can view the wildlife on safaris or bush walks, whilst accompanied by SANParks-accredited guides. Tinga vehicles also have access to the entire Kruger road network, thus allowing guests to view the areas of historical significance and aesthetic beauty that the southern Kruger has to offer.
Both Lodges have 9 Suites, all with en-suite bathroom and shower, private eternity swimming pools, fireplace, mini bar and fridge, room mini safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, private lounge, direct dial telephones and satellite television. The Suites are equipped with international adaptors as well as hairdryers, insect spray, mosquito repellent and citronella wipes. Each Suite also has its own private game viewing deck with magnificent views of the African Bush. Internet, Satellite Television and Fax facilities are available to our guests at both lodges. What to take: Since malaria is endemic to the Mpumalanga Region where the Tinga Private Game Lodge is situated, it is essential to ensure that anti-malarial precautions are taken throughout the year when visiting. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist. Sun block, hats, sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes, camera and film, video camera, binoculars, swimming costume and neutral coloured clothing, white is not recommended!
What to wear: Winter Months: (May - September: 4 - 23 C/ 38F - 73F) Very warm insulated parkas or bush jackets for night safaris. Scarves to keep the neck warm. Light sweaters for midday use.
